George W. Bush Presidential Center, Dallas, TX
Texas is the home of a lot of things, and George W. Bush being one. This Presidential Center serves as a library, museum and restaurant located on the Southern Methodist University (SMU) campus in Dallas. This exhibit dedicated to the former president of the United States was designed to honor his hard work while also a center to study the life of Bush’s life, career as well as American History and the history and importance of presidency.
At the museum you can find a replica of the Oval Office in the White House, millions of photos of the president and his life, millions of emails exchanged and various paper records, as well as audiovisual recordings of the president during his terms.
On site of the center is a 15 acre park of trails, flowers, and a butterfly habitat inspired by the former First Lady, Mrs. Laura Bush and her love for environmental conservation. During the Fall and Spring are held various events such as scavenger hunts and guided tours.
Come dine at Cafe 43 for a whole dining experience named after Bush being the 43rd President. A menu full of Texas inspired classic dishes. This cafe is also available for various private events or occasions.
The center has special areas available to use for any corporate or special events as well with decor and designs inspired by the White House.
